How to Redeem Gift Card Codes: Apple / Google Play / Steam Guide

Nine out of ten redemption failures come from region mismatch. Confirm the code region matches your account region before redeeming; that is also the only rule when choosing a region at purchase.
Apple gift cards
In the App Store, tap your avatar and choose Redeem Gift Card or Code. The code region must match your Apple ID region; US cards need a US Apple ID.
Google Play gift cards
Choose Redeem code in the Play Store menu. Some countries also check the IP location; use a US IP when redeeming US cards.
Steam wallet codes
Redeem under Add Funds in the Steam client. Wallet codes are currency-specific and credited at the day’s rate; cross-region use risks a red lock, so always match your account currency.
Troubleshooting checklist
Check in order: typos (0/O, 1/I), account region, abnormal IP, and whether the code was already used. If it still fails, contact support with the order ID and a screenshot for a replacement.
