Haoxiaoer User Manual: Gmail Google Account First Login Guide and Full Secure Takeover Process
A step-by-step guide to signing in to new Gmail accounts safely. Learn how to clear login environments, handle recovery email checks, and secure your account by updating passwords, 2FA, and trusted devices to prevent lockouts.

After receiving a new Gmail or Google account from Haoxiaoer, many people's first instinct is to quickly enter the credentials and log in to take a look. However, for a platform like Google with extremely high risk control standards, an account suddenly logging in from a brand-new device and a brand-new IP node can easily trigger the system's security protection mechanisms. To help you successfully log in and ensure the account can be used by you stably, securely, and long-term, please strictly follow the "First Login Guide" and "Secure Takeover Process" below during your first login.
I. Pre-Login Environment Preparation
Google's risk control algorithms are very sensitive to the login environment. If your device or network environment is too "unfamiliar" or abnormal, even with completely correct credentials, a series of additional identity verifications may pop up. Before clicking "Sign in," please make sure to complete the following three preparations:
A fixed and clean network node
Try to use an independent proxy node with good overseas connectivity quality.
Never switch nodes frequently: If you repeatedly change IPs from different countries or regions during login, Google can very easily determine the account is at risk of being stolen and lock the login.
Clean your browser environment (Incognito mode recommended)
It is recommended to use the Incognito/Private Window of Chrome, Edge, or Firefox for your first login. This effectively isolates local old cookies and cache interference from other accounts.
If using a regular window, make sure to disable automation script plugins or ad-blocking extensions that may interfere with the network environment.
Isolate historical accounts
If you are already logged into multiple other Gmail accounts in your browser, it is recommended to log out first or create a new independent Chrome browser user profile, achieving "one account, one environment."
II. First Login Steps
Follow the information in the Haoxiaoer delivery list (usually including: account/email, password, recovery email) and complete the login in sequence:
Step 1: Go to the official Google login page
Open an incognito browser window and directly visit the official Google login portal: https://accounts.google.com or https://mail.google.com.
Step 2: Correctly enter the account and password
Copy the account and password provided by Haoxiaoer. When pasting, be careful not to copy extra spaces or special characters.
Passwords are case-sensitive. It is recommended to manually verify once.
Step 3: Handle the "Confirm your recovery email" verification (common interface)
Since this is the first login on a new device, Google will very likely show a verification interface prompting: "Confirm your recovery email".
Correct approach: Select the "Confirm your recovery email" option, then fully copy and paste the recovery email address provided in the Haoxiaoer delivery information to complete verification.
Special note: At this point, the system does not require you to log into that recovery email to receive a verification code. It is only checking with you that "you know the name of this recovery email." Do not mistakenly choose the option that sends a verification code.

III. Four-Step "Secure Takeover" After Login
Successfully entering the Gmail inbox homepage does not mean the takeover is complete. To ensure account ownership is fully yours and prevent future situations where you forget the password or cannot log in, please complete the following four secure takeover operations immediately after successful login.
Access the security settings entry: visit the Google Account Security Center.
1. Change the account's main password
In the "How you sign in to Google" section, find the Password option.
Enter the original password, then set a brand-new strong password (recommended to include uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols, with a length of 12 characters or more).
After changing, save your new password properly.
2. Replace with a recovery email you control
On the security page, find Recovery Email.
Click to enter, and change the original default recovery email to an email you use most frequently in daily life and can log into at any time to receive verification codes (such as your personal regular email).
After the change, Google will send a verification email to your new recovery email. Log into your email and enter the 6-digit verification code to confirm the binding.
3. Bind your personal phone number or set up two-step verification (2FA)
Find Recovery Phone or 2-Step Verification.
Bind your own phone number (most regions worldwide are supported; remember to include the country code when entering, e.g., +86 for mainland China).
If you frequently use authenticator apps, it is strongly recommended to enable Google Authenticator binding, so that even if your phone cannot receive SMS later, you can still log in anytime via dynamic verification codes.
4. Check and remove historical trusted devices
Scroll to the Your devices section on the security page.
Click "Manage all devices" and check whether there are login records from other historical devices besides the computer/phone you are currently using.
If you see unfamiliar or old devices, click the device name and select Sign out to ensure the account is currently active only on your device.

IV. Account Nurturing and Stable Usage Recommendations
A new account that has just completed first login and secure takeover is in a risk control "observation period." To help the account establish a stable device trust relationship, please follow these daily usage recommendations:
Keep the environment stable: Within the first 3–7 days after taking over the account, try to use it on the same device, same browser, and same network node. Do not frequently switch IP addresses.
Generate genuine usage traces: After logging in, try browsing a few web pages, watching a YouTube video, or sending a normal test email to another one of your email addresses, so Google's algorithm recognizes this as an active account used normally by a real person.
Back up one-time backup verification codes: In the "2-Step Verification" settings, download and save the 10 backup codes. If you later change phones, cannot receive SMS, or encounter node abnormalities, this set of backup codes is your highest-level rescue key for directly logging into the account.
V. Common First Login Issues and Solutions
| Issue | Possible Cause | Solution |
| "Wrong password" prompt | Extra leading/trailing spaces when copying, or case confusion | Manually clear the input field and copy-paste again; if confirmed correct, contact Haoxiaoer customer service to verify |
| "Couldn't verify this account belongs to you" prompt | Current network node risk is too high, or multiple failed attempts in a short time | Close the incognito window, switch to a clean and stable proxy node, wait 1–2 hours, then try again |
| Request to send SMS to old phone number | Google's strong risk control protection mechanism triggered | Click "Try another way" below, choose to verify the recovery email, or submit other security information |
| Page keeps loading and freezes | Local browser plugin conflict or network connection timeout | Check proxy network connectivity, or clear browser cache and reopen in incognito mode |
